QUALIFICATION
Dr. Navneet Arora obtained B.Tech (Mechanical) degree with Hons. from NIT Kurukshetra in 1988. Then he obtained M.Tech. (Mechanical Engg.) degree from IIT Roorkee in 1990. He got University Gold Medal for standing First in Class. He obtained Ph.D. degree from NIT Kurukshetra in 1997.
EXPERIENCE
Dr. Arora started his career from Panjab Engg. College, Chandigarh and served there for 1.5 years. Then he served at R.E.C., Kurukshetra for 7 years and then joined I.I.T. Roorkee in June 1998. Since then he is serving at IIT Roorkee itself.
ACADEMIC ACHIEVEMENTS
Dr. Arora has Guided 06 Students for their PhD theses and 05 more students are working under him. Dr. Arora has Published more than 118 research papers in International/ National Journals/ Conferences of repute. He has handled many Sponsored and Consultancy Projects.
Apart from his academics and research activities, Dr. Arora is deeply dedicated to Social activities and Human Values. He is renowned orator and has delivered several hundred motivational talks to scientists, engineers and students within India and abroad. He is Hony. Director of Better Life Training Institute, Roorkee and Hony. Editor of a monthly Journal on Human Values and Ethics. He has authored/ edited several books including ‘Mere Mata-Pita va Mere Bachche’ (My Parents and My Children), ‘Nai Soch Naya Savera’, ‘Sochein To Aisa Sochein’, ‘Jeene Ki Kala’ and ‘Attitude of Gratitude’.
